Future Visions: Voices of a Retirement Generation

A 5-minute VideoZine about how people nearing retirement imagine their future, using interviews, AI visuals, and video art.

About the Project

Future Visions is a collaborative project developed in CoLab6 (EdUHK, 2025–26).

We invited people close to retirement age to talk about their future – health, independence, daily joy, and what it means to “live well” in the years ahead.

All interviews were voluntary, with informed consent for recording, editing, and online presentation.

Instead of predicting the future, we use interviews, AI-generated visuals, and video art to create a shared VideoZine: a space where voices, bodies, imagination and technology meet, overlap, and sometimes misalign.

All interviews were voluntary, with informed consent for recording, editing, and online presentation.

Why Their Voices Matter
